Welcome to Severndale Academy’s SEN Information Report
At Severndale, we celebrate difference, champion individuality, and nurture every pupil’s unique potential. As a specialist setting for children and young people aged 3 to 19 with a range of learning needs, we are proud to be part of the Learning Community Trust – a partnership that strengthens our commitment to inclusive, aspirational education.
Our SEN Information Report offers a clear and comprehensive overview of how we support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). It reflects our ethos: That every learner deserves to feel safe, valued, and inspired. Our approach is always personalised, holistic, and rooted in respect.
We work closely with families, carers, therapists, and external professionals to build a learning journey that is ambitious and meaningful. Our curriculum is carefully adapted to helping every child flourish – not just academically, but socially, emotionally, and physically.
This report is here to guide you through our provision, answer key questions, and demonstrate that your child is in a setting where their voice matters and their progress is celebrated.
If you’d like to know more or speak with us directly, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’re here to listen, support, and walk alongside you.
Warm regards,
Ceri Cusack
